CR

Add: God A man who asked if he had seen a boy in a black hooded cloak. Suzaku had but was not sure where they had gone. He asked what Suzaku's impression of him was and Suzaku explained that he had not seen his face but he seemed to hang back and observe more than join in. He then asked if he had seen someone with grey hair and gaps around where his arms should be. Suzaku had seen him too and wondered if maybe they had been pressed into cleaning.

Suzaku hopes he found the people he was looking for

Adrien Agreste: Shinki A boy Suzaku met on his first day, he guessed Suzaku was a new shinki who hadn't met his god yet. He explained that all shinki had a god even though gods sometimes disappeared they could find another or there was a home for godless shinki. He explained that a god disappearing was not a shinki's fault and that the heavens would reassign them.

He had been there about a month and explained to Suzaku about what it was like. It's nice to have a purpose even if you have nothing else. He said everyone was helpful and Suzaku agreed, everyone had been very helpful. He explained there was a school though he had taken no lessons there.

He knew Kairi. Suzaku asked him if he knew who decided which god got what shinki. Adrien didn't know but they agreed that it was probably a big job, as people arrived and dissapeared all the time and that it might be something as simple as drawing names from a hat. Aiden gave him a quick lesson on how the phones worked, everyone's names were already programmed in, which was useful. His god was Fortuna.

He was at Grell's haloween party, dressed as the Big Bad Wolf, his goddess was there dressed as Little Red Riding hood. He had not made these costumes but helped make the costumes for Hibiki's masquerade ball, they were going as night and day.

He seemed uncomfortable around the butterflies in training.

When Lady Grell disappeared Suzaku text him to ask if he would look after Kotetsu for a few days. Adrien agreed and offered for Suzaku to stay at Marinette's temple. Suzaku didn't want to inconvenience them but Adrien told him to bring Kotetsu over anyways.

His kindness was almost overwhelming. He helped Suzaku wash off the blight and lent him clothes. He reassured him that they would check Kotetsu for blight. Suzaku stayed with Adrien, Marinette and Snake for a few days before going to the shinki sanctuary whilst he waited for reassignment from Heaven. Their temple was very homely and very busy, many kittens, a strange black flying cat ball and a couple of snakes.

Whilst Suzaku was at the shinki sanctuary Adrien was injured in a fight against ayakashi, he slept for a few days and when he woke it was as a god. Suzaku saw him at the training after he had woken. He was still ajusting to all of a sudden having all of his memories. He had been assigned as Bast, protector of cats and families, which fit him well.

Suzaku suggested that he speak to Hakkai, as he had also once been a shinki and so would understand better what Adrien was going through. Adrien was still happy to look after Kotetsu and Suzaku promised to go and visit soon.

At the hot springs Suzaku met Adrien but didn't recognise him at first. He was dressed in a black cat costume and was cutting hedges. He was a hero back home though he didn't seem to feel that way himself. Suzaku told him that being a hero meant doing what was needed.

Adrien told him a bit about his world, how his father had been very strict and how he had been a model, how he had craved freedom and wanted to just be a child rather than practically an employee of his father. Plagg had helped him gain that freedom and he was able to go to school and make friends. They spoke a little about cats and then Adrien showed him how he could destroy things with just one touch of his claw.

Adrien told Suzaku how he hadn't been sleeping and explained how when he was sick he had confessed how he had felt to Snake and Marinette and that things were now strange. It was very much out of things Suzaku understood but he did his best to listen and advised Adrien to just keep being honest with them and to confide in Shin, who clearly wanted to help.

When Kija disappeared Kotetsu went to Adrien who found Suzaku and carried him home, he let Suzaku stay with him in his temple until Suzaku found his feet. He asked Suzaku to stay to help out as Marinette was asleep and they were all worried.

They met in a strange dream with falling fire plaques. They tried to figure out why they were falling and who the mysterious footsteps belonged to. Suzaku also ended up in a dream of Adrien's. Adrien was a child lying next to a woman and then the next thing there was a swarm of butterflies and Adrien was an adult, trapped in a cage. He was panicking and Suzaku tried to calm him down. He asked if Adrien could transform and Adrien did so, before destroying the bars.

Adrien told him that the woman was his mum and she had often read to him, that this was like a dream he often had but he had no idea why Suzaku was there. Suzaku figured out it had something to do with the sleeping sickness. They discussed ways to break out of the dream.
He was very friendly and keen to help. Suzaku liked him and would like to get to know him better

Archer: Shinki A shinki who helped Suzaku after Grell disappeared. He had coated his blades in holy water. Once they were safe they discussed what they had found. Suzaku told him of the child he and Hibiki had found with power over the forest. They discussed weapons and Archer turned Suzaku's stick into a wooden sword, sturdier and better balanced.

He was at Zelda's meeting and Suzaku met him properly, he was one of Caster's shinki.

Ayumu Yamazaki: Shinki A woman who asked Suzaku to pass her tea in the cat cafe, she was covered in a giant cat, called a Maine Coon. She was shinki to Lady Sanzang. She asked how he was settling in and told him that the other shinki would help, as everyone knew how it was to be new.

Polite and friendly

Caster: God: Cú Chulainn They met in the forest whilst investigating, Suzaku mistook Caster for a cultist. They had both felt strange in the trees, like they were watching them. They decided to join forces to gather information. They linked the scraps of Ofuda and found they formed a circle, which wasn't all that helpful. They tried to gather enough scraps to reconstruct an Ofuda. Suzaku reached out to grab one first as he didn't want Caster hurt. They didn't have enough pieces so decided to split to look further afield. Caster told him to not touch any more, but to ring him as he was the resident magic expert.

Suzaku met him later at the onsun with Ginia. Caster encouraged him to rest from chores for a few minutes and explained to him and Ginia how his magic worked. He was encouraging of Ginia, who was not good at accepting how talented she was, and of Suzaku. He knew a lot about magic and explained how different world magic worked.

He made an announcement in December to tell people that Ginia's birthday was the 1st January, he told Suzaku that she cared for him.

Celestia: God: Inti A god who is a horse with wings and a horn, she can shapeshift. They met during training, she had destroyed a training dummy. Suzaku tried to help her think of ways to train even though she wasn't suited for the human training tools. He wasn't able to come up with any great ideas but she said her magic was her best tool in a fight anyways. She said that some of the old gods had animal forms but she had not seen them training here and had not been able to speak to them to ask how they did so. She wondered if they fought Ayakashi and told Suzaku that there had been many Ayakashi attacks.

They introduced themselves and she was a princess as well as a god, Suzaku floundered on how informal he had been but she was kind and didn't mind. She told him a little of how in pony culture the title of princess is earned and not passed down or voted upon. It was earned by demonstrating the magic of friendship. Suzaku said that if it were earned it were even more important that it be respected.

She saw her time on the Far shore as a vacation, away from her normal duties. She was a godess of the sun but did not see much difference in what gods did. She saw this place as an excelent oportunity to learn.

She was very friendly, though Suzaku is still unsure how he should act around her. He hopes that she is able to figure out her training dilemma.

Chikusa Kakimoto: Shinki He was fighting a soulless shinki and contemplated killing it. Suzaku told him that they were meant to be rescuing them not killing them. He said it didn't matter because he was a soulless. Suzaku didn't understand the difference or why that meant this shinki could be killed. He asked if it meant that Suzaku would care if the shinki died and Suzaku said he would. Chikusa knocked the shinki down and asked if Suzaku knew how to knock someone unconcious. Suzaku knocked the shinki out.

They discussed what might be controlling the shinki and if the others might be controlled as well. They didn't know if they were in the forest or if the forest was a distraction. Suzaku suggested that the shinki belonged to a god who was behind all of the disappearances, Chikusa said that the one he had just knocked out belonged to his own god. He said it was just soulless and not something someone would want to find. Suzaku asked if his god would mind if he were killed, Chikusa said he didn't know if he would cared and the soulless shinki was called Asshole.

Chikusa was Hakkai's shinki and told Suzaku that Hakkai owned the school and taught there. Chikusa had been his shinki for three months. They found some of the paper, Chikusa asked him if he had heard of Ofuda, Suzaku had and Chikusa said that Shun, or Nekhbet was researching them but he was one of those missing- his Shinki might know. Chikusa said they had a lot of them. Suzaku took one of the papers but the forest attacked. Suzaku fought long enough to let Chikusa escape.

He was very practical and clearly skilled. Suzaku liked him well enough even if he was quick to suggest murder.

Chinatsu Hiyama: Shinki Suzaku ended up in her dream, they were ballroom dancing and she was angry at him for not doing his part. He had no idea what his part was and told her so. She told him that he had to look fierce whilst tangoing, as if every move as a battle. Just as he was starting to get the hang of it water began flooding the dance floor. She refused to leave because if they left they lost.

Suzaku had no idea what was happening but he refused to leave her, he asked why she wanted to win so badly and she told him that it was everything to her. That she had worked so hard to get there so she was not about to give up. He asked if it was worth drowning for. She told him that if he felt like he was drowning he wasn't doing it right, that he couldn't be scared because if he was scared it would be harder for her not to be. She needed his trust.

Suzaku did his best and let the water pull them under, where strangely they could still breathe under the water.

Chise Hatori: Shinki She was being mobbed by butterflies. Suzaku helped catch the butterflies and let her escape away from them. She asked him not to harm the butterflies and he promised he wouldn't.

It was odd that butterflies swarmed her, she seemed nice. Suzaku would like to meet her again when there isn't a butterfly situation on hand.

D2: A man who sang in English during training, they spoke a little as Suzaku had approached him as he hadn't heard Britannian spoken since he had arrived in the heavens. Even if it were a little awkward he didn't seem to mind and said that he didn't get to speak English very often.

Davesprite: Shinki A boy with wings and feathers who Suzaku met in the forest. He was contemplating attacking the cultists and Suzaku said they should figure out what they were doing before attacking. They investigated the strange papers and dolls. Davesprite told him off for touching the weird curse stuff. They began destroying it and hoped other people would figure it out as well.

Davesprite realised that the air was clearing whenever the destroyed one. He had powers- flash stepping and lazers that fired out of his hands though it had taken him a while to realise as he couldn't remember having abilities or how to use them. They continued smashing dolls trying to clear whatever weird curse there was.

He's a little confusing in how he speaks but he seemed to know what he was doing. His powers sounded useful and Suzaku hopes he figures them out. The fact he was orange, feathered and winged is strange- is it strange? He feels like it is strange but he's settling for acting like everything is normal unless other people's reactions tell him it isn't.

Dust: Shinki Suzaku met him in the ruins of a temple of a disappeared god. He was trying to rescue some of his mementos and Suzaku helped him. He helped take him to the shinki sanctuary. It was only a few days after Suzaku had lost Grell and Suzaku wanted to help in any way that he could. Dust seemed to know Wendy, who had founded the sanctuary and claimed she would kill him if he didn't make use of it. They spoke about the sanctuary and Suzaku learned that Dust had been there six months. He had been with his god all that time though they didn't see each other all that much, doing their own things for the most part. Dust seemed quite practical about the disappearance. Dust was later named by Marinette.

Ebisu: God Young god, he has a lot of shinki. Suzaku came upon him in the forest, he was using one of his shinki- a dagger to heal another. Suzaku was worried but the misconception was quickly cleared. He was testing the effects of the forest on Shinki powers, Suzaku watched and they discussed what might be causing it. One of his Shinki explained how the forest had been around for a while and lured people in. They said that a god of nature might know- Amaterasu, Konohanasakuya-hime, Izanami, and Izanagi though the latter two did not interact with the Far Shore much.

Suzaku asked if there were gods that did not live on the Far Shore and the shinki explained about the underworld. The topic seemed to make Ebisu uncomfortable though so they spoke of other things. Introductions were given and Suzaku stayed with the group a little while until they found others.

He seems worryingly young but he has a lot of shinki to look after him.

Edge: Shinki A boy Suzaku met in a park, he was resting after training. He had been throwing shurikan. He told Suzaku that the heavens was a place that was bad for people, half of them were dead with no memories, they were under assault from monsters they couldn't kill. Suzaku couldn't really disagree but he also didn't know any other places to compare it to.

They agreed to spar, Suzaku trying to find a way to chear the other shinki up. They spoke about how strange it was to not know what they were good at until they did it and then sparred unarmed. Their styles were quite different but it was a fun spar, Suzaku almost threw Edge but stopped as he didn't want to harm him, Edge was a little insulted but was mollified by Suzaku offering to show him how to resist grabs and throws like that next time.

They met a few days later at the training day. Edge asked Suzaku for help in figuring out how to let people through borderlines. He told Suzaku about fighting the giant ayakashi after the gods meeting. Suzaku told him he had been asleep and assured him it was apparently normal, which Edge took as more evidence that the heavens were bad for people.

They practiced with Suzaku trying to run through Edge's borderline, it took a while. Edge told him it would be easier if he were a cute girl, Suzaku offered to go ask one of the girls to help and Edge told him that if he could have grabbed one of them to help he wouldn't have asked Suzaku. He used his daggers as a focus tool and was able to soften the borderline enough that Suzaku could move through.

Suzaku then tried and had a lot of difficulty, it was either too solid or shattered. It was difficult like trying to split his mind in two. Edge asked what Suzaku liked, Suzaku wasn't sure so he asked what was important to him. Suzaku said protecting people and Edge helped by giving him a senario, where if he didn't let Edge through Edge would die, and if the borderline shattered Edge would die. Suzaku succeeded, though it was exhausting.

Edge's god did not seem to like fighting all that much and Edge said it was frustrating that he couldn't do things alone. Suzaku said that with this new skill he could be useful in protecting people. It turned out Edge didn't know how to use cutting borderlines so Suzaku showed him how to do that as well as how to do the more subtle borderline Kairi had taught him, holding the energy in his hand. Edge struggled with that and they called it a day.

A few days after Grell disappeared Edge asked Suzaku for help answering a prayer. They met in Tokyo and went to help a man who had prayed to win at gambling. They saw it as a call for help and decided to help him stop.

They ended up in a gambling den where rock, paper, scissors was played for money. Edge thought it best to scare him and so Suzaku challenged him, whilst Edge... cheated, influencing the mans choices and lightening his purse until he believed himself at rock bottom. Once Suzaku had won and the man left, to jeers, they snuck the money back into his pocket. He was delighted with this 'miracle' and vowed to turn over a new leaf.

Once their prayer was answered they went for food, Edge producing money that Suzaku believed he had gotten legitimately despite everything he had seen of his friend that day.

They practised again during the next training, Suzaku showed him some holds and throws. In return Edge started teaching him throwing weapons. Edge made it clear he would not be as good as he was, but Suzaku pointed out it would take a lot of unlearning to make his fighting style like Edge's. He just wanted another tool at his disposal. They talked about coating throwing weapons with holy water and using them against ayakashi. Suzaku told him what Kamui had told him, about ayakashi once being human. Some seemed too small to be human and they wondered if animal spirits could become ayakashi as well. They weren't sure if animals could get blight in the same way as humans. They thought of researching but Edge admitted he found reading boring. Suzaku promised he would let him know if he learned anything, even if he had not much of a clue on research himself.

Around the same time as Suzaku lost Kija, Edge lost his god. They both were named by Saber. Edge's shinki form was a cloak whilst Suzaku's was a rifle. They discovered that they could not hear each other whilst both in vessel form. Later that day Edge and Suzaku shared food and spoke of their new partnership. They discussed spells and Edge suggested that Suzaku ask Kairi for help with them. They agreed that the day had been good.

They found each other on the volcano. They tried to find a path up past the lava and learned that borderlines might slow lava for a short time but they hurt a lot when they broke. They discussed what or who might have caused the eruption.

A few days after the volcanic eruption they went to check on their gambler. They went to his home to find his wife and daughter and learned he had not often been home. They decided to take him some momentos of his family to remind him of what he was missing. Once again Edge was a lot more loose with mortal laws than Suzaku was. They found the man in a bar and set a trail of photos to lead him home. They succeeded and reunited him with his family once more. Suzaku finally made good on his offer to cook dinner for Edge.

*During the dream event Edge ended up in Suzaku's nightmare where Suzaku was young child in a destroyed Japan. They had a discussion/argument about violence and when it should be used against oppressive regimes such as Britannia. Edge asked him what the point of living was and Suzaku said he didn't know, maybe there wasn't one. Then Edge asked what was more important: To fight for what you believe in, or to surrender it all just for another day that may or may not come?

Suzaku told him they had to stop Britannia but they had to use the right methods. They debated methods and Edge told him that even if he wasn't going to fight he should help others, by protecting them, hiding them, feeding them. Suzaku said he would try his best.*

Probably the closest Suzaku has to a friend. He's a fun training partner and Suzaku likes spending time with him. He would like to help him settle in more, since it seems Edge is struggling with being in the Far shore and being a shinki.

Emizel: God: Thanatos He posted on the BBS asking if anyone had seen Ronald or Grell or William. Suzaku told him that both Grell and William were gone. Emizel said he hoped they had returned home though Suzaku told him that if William had been first here as a shinki then that was unlikely. Emizel told him that he thought they had all been dead at home, as they were reapers, like him but from a different world. Reapers brought souls to the after life. In Emizel's world it was demons like him who took the job. Emizel told him about the underworld and how he had guarded an entrance to it. Suzaku told him he was sorry for his loss and Emizel said he could just hope they were together somewhere.

Felix Lucky. God A child who was cleaning floors in preparation for the meeting of the gods. He had been caught trying to climb on the roof, he asked about the people training and if they had been brought there to fight. He got upset about the idea of fighting people though he was quick to explain he could he just didn't want to. Suzaku told him he shouldn't have to fight if he didn't want to.

They finished cleaning and Suzaku took him to the dojo to find a sword as big as he was, mostly in an attempt to cheer him up. He was a lot stronger than he looked.

He's a sweet kid though Suzaku is a little worried about him. He seems very young but in some ways not young at all. He will try and keep an eye on him

Ginia: Shinki They met when Suzaku first arrived, he was practicing borderlines and Ginia attacked with borderlines of her own. They sparred. Suzaku discovered that he enjoyed sparring. She cannot speak so uses her phone to communicate. She had arrived two weeks prior to him and she explained about vessel forms, hers was a sniper rifle. Her god was not a fighter and she was not happy about that. She told him she hoped he got along with his god and he replied that he was sure he would but it wouldn't matter as it was his duty to protect them regardless.

Ginia asked what was more important, loyalty or personal happiness. Suzaku answered loyalty and asked if she felt differently. Ginia said it was something she was trying to figure out and asked if his answer would be the same if loyalty came at the price of personal happiness. Suzaku said yes, if you had loyalty to someone you should be loyal regardless of cost, Ginia asked about what he thought if the cost was his life he said that if you were not prepared to die for it you were not truly loyal. She said she hoped he had a worthy god. He hoped she found the answer to her question.

A couple of days later they met at the cat cafe, she chased away the cats that were attacking him. She told him she liked all animals but especially cats. They spoke about animals at their temples and she asked about his god and if he liked her. They spoke about souless shinki but Ginia understood as little as Suzaku did on that subject. She gave him a voucher for some food as she had already tried some.

At the next training they met again and Ginia helped him with his measurements and data collection. She was a good fighter, which Suzaku had already suspected. She was a little bit injured from the fight at the gods meeting. She gave him a proper summery of what had happened both at the meeting and afterwards. She asked if he wished to get some food but he said he should probably finish his work first.

They next met whilst investigating the forest. He and Ginia used alternating borderlines to keep Ayakashi at bay. They spoke about the forest and what they had found, Suzaku had met her god earlier that day. They also spoke about weapon forms. Ginia was a snow leapard so she could move independently. Suzaku explained what a slash harken was. They travelled together for a little while.

In mid December they met at the library. Ginia was injured, she claimed it had been a training accident. Suzaku was looking for information on spells and Ginia helped him look. She spent quite a bit of time in the library so knew it better than Suzaku.

She also had learned some spells already including ablutions. She warned him that ablutions were difficult and he should consider it carefully if anyone asked him to help out with one.

Suzaku asked if she could show him Bind. She began teaching him, explaining you needed a shinki's vessal name and also superiority, the confidence that you are better. Suzaku was not great at spells. They agreed that they could practice on each other at any, sensible non dangerous, time. She warned him to be careful of who he gave his name to.

They met at the hot springs where she was taking a break with Caster, playing games and throwing satsuma's at his head mostly. They spoke about plans for the upcoming holidays and about spells. They asked Caster how his spells worked. They worked with words and knowing how things worked. Ginia told Suzaku that you could cast borderlines without speaking and Suzaku practiced. Ginia was not very good at accepting how talented she was.

She was at Zelda's meeting and had lots of information about the cultists, they spoke about the prayer slips and then she explained about a head teacher who had summoned a demon and used ayakashi to drain children.

They spoke in training when Suzaku had regained a memory. She had never heard of Britannia and she encouraged him to speak to his god. She had remembered things too, disjointed things but she had remembered some people. They wondered what made them remember but the only common thing seemed to be that memories returned whilst they slept. She warned him against being distracted.

She offered Sign Language lessons over the BBS, Suzaku asked if he could learn. He told her he was now named by Saber, she told him that Saber was a friend of the temple and Suzaku should visit next time he did. They arranged lessons. The lessons went well and Suzaku began picking up the language.

Only a couple of weeks later a strange event happened when people shared strange dreams. Suzaku found Ginia on a roof and she told him that it was where she used to live, she could remember her entire life. She said she wasn't a good person and Suzaku said he didn't think many of them were, that perhaps their lack of memories was to make them more useful, to be what their gods needed them to be without their past getting in the way. Ginia asked if he would rather be a god and Suzaku answered that he didn't think he would want that responsibility. Ginia didn't think she would want to be either. Especially as the heavens were a trial by fire most of the time.

Ginia asked if he had any regrets being in the heavens, Suzaku said a couple. It was hard when people disappeared, Ginia said that knowing people would leave brought its own complications. She told him that her biggest regret was how things ended with Archer and Caster. Suzaku had not known she had left Caster's service. She told him that it had been her choice, she had made a decision against Caster's wishes but he had not made her leave, she had asked for him to remove her name. She was now named by Alex and by Ebisu though she asked him to keep the latter a secret. She said she was not ashamed of being nora but it was delicate.

Ginia is very friendly, she is also a very skilled fighter. Suzaku would like to get to know her better.

Grell Sutcliffe God: Kali His God. She found him after his initial day of training. She explained that she was Kali, divine mother, a creator and destroyer, life and death and a ruthless fighter. It was clear that she preferred the destructive part.

Not long afterwards a man named William approached Suzaku and warned him that Grell was an exceptionally complicated individual and easily triggered into acting violently. He warned Suzaku that he should be careful, seak William out if a situation became too much for him to handle. To work for Grell and fight along side her, but to be careful not to bore her.

She allowed Suzaku to adopt a cat as long as he was the one to look after it. She held a Halloween party at her temple and declared that costumes were mandatory. It was a strange party and Suzaku didn't really feel at ease there. When Suzaku went to help search the national park and the forest thought to be connected to the one that kidnapped people Grell disappeared from the heavens.

Suzaku is very unsure about Lady Grell. She confuses him and William's warning is clear in his mind but at the same time she is his god and he respects her. He has fallen into being very formal around her, acting like her knight (even if he doesn't consciously know he's doing it).

Hakkai Cho God: Li Tieguai Someone else who was not comfortable with Suzaku having a gun, he told him that if something went wrong here a gun wouldn't be enough, which was less than reassuring. He was a god of medicine and explained that the new gods were mortal souls like humans and shinki. In fact he had been a shinki himself before returning as a god. He had disappeared and returned as a god but could not remember where he had gone. Suzaku asked him what it was like being a god, he said that compared to a shinki he felt less lost but it didn't make the world make any more sense. Which was also less than reassuring.

He had been here eight months, which was amongst the longest Suzaku had heard. Suzaku asked if he had any advice and he said that he should know he could ask his god to release him if things don't work out, secondly that gods disappeared frequently so he should have a back up plan if that happened and also to not trust the heavens too blindly.

He didn't think the heavens meant them harm but they were newcomers and disappeared frequently, they were expendable. Though they claimed not to be the ones that brought them, and their own gods were also disappearing. He suspected a conspiracy, one of Amaterasu's advisers as she was queen of the heavens but quite young. The most powerful gods advised her and Hakkai believed one of them to be potentially behind everything.

He replied to Suzaku's BBS post to say that sleeping for a long time was something that happened and explained that there was some trouble at the meeting of gods. There was a draining spell, which was attracting Ayakashi. They didn't know how it had appeard but Hakkai had seen similar spells elsewhere in the world. He was hoping to discover what had caused it.

He was at Zelda's meeting and had a lot of information about strange goings on that might be related to the cultists.

Near the end of December Suzaku woke up with one day of memories, he was very distracted during the training day and Hakkai came to speak to him and make sure he ate. Suzaku. Suzaku asked if he had remembered anything whilst being a shinki and Hakkai said that he had, that it was probably one of the most unbearable things about being a shinki. He warned Suzaku not to think on it overmuch, as it was dangerous and encouraged him to speak to his god. Suzaku didn't want to bother his god but Hakkai told him about how he hadn't been able to talk to his last god about his problems and it had led to an abultion that had almost killed her. Suzaku took the warning and said he would try and speak to his god. He never got the chance.

He had a lot of information and seemed to have a good grasp on what was happening. He answered Suzaku's questions and Suzaku is thankful for that

Hibiki Shikyoin: God A woman at the cat cafe. She was getting annoyed at the cats, Suzaku's attempt at removing cats from her person led to hilarity and disaster, a dropped tea cup and cat fur everywhere. She was not impressed. She complained about the bad breading of the cats as Suzaku cleaned up the mess.

Later as he was waiting for Grell to reply to his message asking if he could adopt a cat he met her again, she had found a cat that she wanted to adopt, she was struggling to hold it. She claimed the cat top class, decended from the cats or Priopatra, who was the first divine idol whatever that means

She attended Grell's haloween party and was bothered by jaquals. Suzaku helped fend them off and they spoke, she was not in costume and declared it unecessary as she had come as herself. She was an actor, model, recording artist and pri para idol. She had a poster from a film she had been in and Suzaku learned her name. She was a god of entertainment and was there to judge the party.

They met in the forest- Hibiki was knocked back into him whilst monologuing at trees. They were attacked by vines and she was dragged off him. He rescued her and she used a purple rope to swing them through the trees. Her use of powers exhausted her and he refused to leave her. She told him he was too assertive for a shinki. He carried her through the trees.

She recovered quite quickly and led the way once more, in the completely wrong direction... They wandered the woods lost for a little while.

Suzaku later met her again whilst investigating the forest on the Near Shore. She had a purple horse (of course.) It was unnerving in the forest and they had the feeling of being watched. Maxi, the horse, sneezed and startled a young girl hiding in the bushes. They chased her through the forest, which she had some control over. Together they bumbled through questioning the young girl. Hibiki frightened her at first but between them they did manage to get some answers.

At the hot springs Rosalie (Hibiki's cat) had gotten dirty and Hibiki was attempting to clean her. Suzaku tried to help, hilarity ensued. But together with some raw fish they managed to clean a cat with only a little bit of blood spilled.

She came across Suzaku whilst he was clearing debris after the volcano. She was riding Maxie and declared Suzaku should hurry and clear the road. She declared that she was planning revolution and her revolution would create a paradise where ayakashi would not form. She sought a perfect world, where humans would not feel the negative emotions that caused ayakashi.

Her plan was to become a god of fortune and link this world with her home world, or an ideal world, or something. She moved on once he had cleared the path.

Hibiki is... Suzaku is not sure what Hibiki is but she is interesting to be around. He constantly feels on the wrong foot with her, she is very dramatic. He will continue to help her whenever he runs into her.

Hope Estheim: God A boy who fell off a roof whilst everyone was clearing debris from the volcano. Suzaku caught him, he was unharmed though. They worked together on clearing debris from the road.

Jae-Ha: Shinki Yona's shinki. A man Suzaku met at the Onsun covered in spirits, he didn't seem too bothered by them. Suzaku helped him try and get rid of them, Jae-Ha suggested hide and seek as they were child spirits. It seemed strange but Suzaku gave it a go.

*Jae Ha ended up in Suzaku's nightmare. He hid with the child Suzaku in a doorway. Suzaku was surprised that he didn't know what had happened but explained. Jae-Ha asked him if he could take him somewhere safer but Suzaku didn't know any safe places. They set off to find more cover.*

Joscelin Fitzthomas: Shinki A boy Suzaku met at training in early December. He asked whether Suzaku had not wanted to play the scavenger hunt and claimed that running laps was boring. He asked what people did for fun and Suzaku told him about the amusement park trip and the autumn leaf festival. The boy wasn't impressed and asked if no one had heard of video games. Suzaku told him that there were video games though he might need to find an arcade on the Near Shore to play one.

Judar: Shinki A boy Suzaku met on the volcano. He believed he was being chased by a creature. Suzaku couldn't see such a creature. He tried to persuade the boy to return to where there were more people but he was distrustful. He called Suzaku an optimistic dog.

Kairi Shinki A girl who offered to train in borderlines with Suzaku. She told him he was lucky to remember two names, she only had one. She was shinki to the goddess Neith. She showed him different borderline forms like the wall and the dagger.

They later met at the cat cafe and she helped distract the cat who was biting Suzaku. She liked cats and said her gods temple had a few of them. At Zelda's meeting she explained about her souless shinki, and how she had named her even though she is a shinki herself, which is strange.

She is friendly and a good with borderlines. Someone he would like to know better

Kamui: Shinki They met during training, Kamui had been slowly figuring out what he could do as well and they had a spar. Kamui told Suzaku that his skin didn't like the sun so he had to carry an umberella.

They met in the forest, where the sun wasn't so much of a problem. They fought ayakashi together. Kamui was reckless and didn't seem to care about blight. He told Suzaku that ayakashi were just spirits that could have become shinki. This was disturbing, knowing that ayakashi were once human but Kamui did not seem too bothered.

Kamui got very reckless and quite blighted, Suzaku tried to stop him by making his borderlines hard so Kamui couldn't get through them. Kamui complained. He was surprised that Suzaku was worried about him and said he was quite sturdy but Suzaku argued that if he broke it would be hard to put him back together.
He is a very skilled fighter

Kija Hakuryuu: God: Chiyou Suzaku's second god after Lady Grell. They first met in training in early December. Kija announced they were to be partners and apologised, as he did not like the idea of having a shinki.

At the hot springs Suzaku did his best to help Kija out whilst cleaning. Kija, it turned out, was very frightened of spiders.

Kusangi Izumo: God He helped Suzaku when he was attacked by ayakashi after Grell disappeared. Suzaku wasn't sure why his borderlines weren't working and Izumo told him that it was likely his god was gone. Something that Suzaku could check easily, looking at where his name had once been. He told him to stick close to the others from then on.

Suzaku ended up in one of his dreams with a girl surrounded in fire and a sword in the sky. He asked what was happening and Izumo told him a king was about to die and there was nothing Suzaku could do to stop it. Suzaku argued they couldn't just let someone die but Izumo told him he couldn't disconnect the sword from it's king. The girl was controlling the sword and she was trying to kill the person who killed someone who was like a father to her.

Lancer: Shinki A man Suzaku met in the dojo. They sparred with spears.

He is a good fighter

Lann: Shinki He posted on the BBS asking for somewhere to stay as his god had disappeared, Suzaku spoke to him and told him about the shinki sanctuary that Adrien had told him about. It was the second time he had lost a god but he seemed to be handling it alright.

He was captured by the forest, Suzaku helped free him with Nanako and Suou.

He seems nice, Suzaku is worried about him and hope he finds a god to serve soon.

Lavi: Shinki Another man who seemed to have taken ill on the volcano. Suzaku tried to help him and almost got punched. He was like a frightened animal and Suzaku tried to calm him to no avail.

Leo: God A man Suzaku met in the forest. He was pulling down the strange papers that were on the trees. They discussed ways to stop the cultists replacing them. He didn't know how to fight except with magic, which wasn't working properly. He said he could hit the cultists with his book, Suzaku asked if he could use axes and he could not.

Not a fighter but seemed determined.

Mai: God She was shooting during the training day and Suzaku offered her his gun to practice with as she was wondering about using a handgun. She told him she had been a sniper shooter when she had been alive, and that she remembered being alive, which was strange. She was a very good shot.

Very good with a gun, was friendly.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng: God: Fortuna Adriens goddess. Marinette was very kind to Suzaku when Grell disappeared. She agreed to looking after Kotetsu and let Suzaku stay in her temple for a few days. She made lots of food and was very kind to all her animals. It was clear that both Adrien and Snake adored her.

After Suzaku was named by Kija he went to collect Kotetsu and thank Marinette. It was after Adrien had became a god and so Suzaku offered to listen if she wished to talk about things, as he imagined things were confusing for her.

Misaki Yata: Shinki He posted on the BBS because his friend and his god had both dissapeared, not like people normally disappeared but they were missing- it turned out kidnapped by the forest. Suzaku tried to help him but it seemed normal protocals for finding missing people were tricky when gods could teleport and everyone could move between the Near and Far shore.

Suzaku met him in person whilst investigating the forest a few weeks later. They compared what they had found and spoke about the strange language that the cultists used. Suzaku realised he could speak Britannian, which Yata called English. They recorded evidence in case it would help anyone who understood things better than they did.

He was clearly very worried. Suzaku hopes that he found his god and his friend in the forest.

Nagito Komaeda: God Posted on the BBS asking if anyone knew where to get a gun. Suzaku asked why he wanted a gun and he said it was because he was not a strong person- a gun was ranged and would allow him to defend himself. Suzaku asked if he knew how to use a gun and Nagito said he thought he did, but did not have any memories- much like a shinki. Suzaku suggested Britannia as somewhere where he could get a gun.

Nagito said he had no money and no ID so if he were to get a gun from the near shore rather than bartering for one from the far shore he would have to steal it. Suzaku told him he shouldn't steal and said he had arrived with a gun. Nagito said that was useful and he had not shown up armed, even with the digital knife he had stabbed himself with- he had been in a computer simulation.

Suzaku hadn't been aware that technology was that advanced but Nagito told him that they were all from different worlds. Which explained a lot of quite confusing things. Nagito had been in a virtual world in order to make new memories after being brainwashed. He also told Suzaku that as well as different worlds people came from different times within one world. Suzaku offered him his gun but Nagito had found someone with a spare.

He seems interesting. Hopefully he will get a way to defend himself soon.

Nanako Dojima: God A little girl who helped rescue Lann. Her shinki was a scarf and she used it to cut the vines.

She is very young. Suzaku worries about her but she seemed to handle herself very well in the forest and her shinki seems to care for her a lot.

Nia: Shinki An angry new shinki who stormed out of training. Suzaku tried to help her- she was new and confused and he understood how that felt. She was angry about everything- about being dead, having to serve a god, having no choice in the matter. Suzaku told her that the gods didn't have a choice either. He told her there was no point in being angry at them for it.

He explained to her that shinki were not slaves despite what she believed and she could ask to be released if she did not get on with her god. She said there was no point as they were in danger without gods, Suzaku told her that was not the gods fault. She asked if he were really so fine with everything and he said that being a shinki meant he could protect people and that was important. She called him spineless and told him that doing something under duress was bad even if it was the same thing he'd have chosen if he had a choice. He said they were dead and it's not like they would be doing anything else.

He told her that she hadn't even met her god yet and she should hold judgement, after all it was better that she work with her god to change things. She said that working with a god was something she oposed and he realised that he probably wasn't going to be able to help her. Suzaku wished her luck as they couldn't agree.

She told him that they had been agreeing but Suzaku told her that kicking kittens was different than being a vessel and fighting ayakashi. He told her her anger was not going to get her anywhere but she argued that anger was important. That being okay with not having a choice was the first step to being okay with not being a person. Asked if he were a person or merely a tool.

Suzaku told her that of course he was a person. But the answer had not come quickly or easily and he decided it was the right time to walk away.

Well... Suzaku isn't sure what to make of Nia at all. He worries about her, as she seems to be angry at the very basis of their existance. He hopes she settles once she finds her god and realises that things are not as bad as she is letting herself think they are.

Obi: Shinki A boy who was being chased by ayakashi in the forest. Suzaku helped him by throwing up a borderline. He wasn't hurt. He guessed that the forest that kidnapped people had been a mirror of this forest on the Near Shore. They had no real answers though.

Piccolo Shinki A green skinned shinki who allowed Suzaku to take some measurements while he trained.

He was very skilled, and prideful.

Pyrrha Nikos: Shinki They met on the beach during January training. She had just arrived, he gave her some advice about being a shinki and what to do if your god disappeared. He told her about the shinki sanctuary.

Ren Suzugamori: God He was in the forest. He named one of the attacking soulless Shinki, it exhausted him. Suzaku helped him by throwing up a borderline between him and another that was trying to attack. Suzaku asked if he could fight, he knew how to use a polearm so when the borderline shattered Suzaku fought the soulless shinki and unnamed him, giving the spear to Ren.

He was very resourceful. Suzaku hopes he got through the rest of the forest alright.

Rin Okumura: Shinki Answered Suzaku's BBS post, he had also been asleep for a while. Or at least had lost time, or time travelled. He hadn't realised and his god hadn't mentioned anything. He said it was better to sleep than to disappear. Suzaku agreed. His god was a god of time and space and he told Suzaku that his temple was very interesting, with different dimensions and such.

They agreed to meet in person at some point, Rin said Suzaku was welcome at Henir's temple though Suzaku thought it was a little careless for the boy to invite strangers he had not met to visit him at home.

They worked together when the volcano was erupting to help evacuate people from the path of the volcano.

Nice enough, seems a little confused. Suzaku would like to meet him in person.

Ryoma: Shinki A shinki in the seemingly huge group of people Kija spent his time with. Suzaku and him spoke in training in December when Suzaku was distracted, Ryoma offered to listen if Suzaku needed to talk to someone. Suzaku was unsure as memories could be dangerous to talk about, not just for him but to those that heard them.

Ryunosuke Akutagawa: Shinki A shinki who Suzaku met in early January in training. He was struggling to cast a borderline and it turned out he had not yet been named by his god. Suzaku explained to him about being named, nora and shinki magic.

They fought Sotero together on the volcano, Akutagawa could use his coat as a weapon and was ruthless with Sotero. They talked about the liklihood of Sotero being a pawn for a greater power.

Saber: God: Micheal At New Years Suzaku walked past Saber who was wondering how he was to get prayers done with no shinki. Suzaku offered his services for the day as he currently had no god and was feeling lost. Saber said it would be presumptous to expect more than a day and Suzaku argued it would have been presumptious to offer more.

It turned out that Saber had once been a king, he was now a god and had lost two shinki. He believed it his fault though he was quick to tell Suzaku to not blame himself for losing two gods. They answered a prayer about a faulty or perhaps haunted toaster. Saber spoke a lot, telling him of battles long gone and of the knights of the Round table. That seemed familiar to Suzaku. He also seemed very keen to fight and very enthusiastic even when faced by a potentially cursed toaster.

They got on well and worked well together and it led to Saber asking to name Suzaku properly. He named Edge at the same time. Saber thought that Suzaku being a rifle meant that he perhaps could not be called Saber but rather Archer. He explained a little about the Throne of heroes and a person being a back up copy that could be summoned. He said that Suzaku would be best asking Caster, who had not been summoned as a Lancer. Suzaku asked if being a Caster meant that he had lost his ability with a Lance. Saber explained that he had not but would not have any Noble Phantasm's to do with a lance. He was very excited at the fact that Edge was a ninja and explained to them briefly about cosplayers before they joined the training.

Saber 'helped' Suzaku make dinner when Suzaku was making his promised dinner for Edge. Saber suggested making a sauce and provided many liquids from the fridge, mayonnaise, energy drink, milk. Suzaku suggested that they look online to find a sauce and see if they had the ingredients rather than experimenting. He discovered that red wine sauce went well with beef and Saber had a lot of red wine. Suzaku had never had red wine before and Saber found it strange that there would be age limits on such things and declared they would serve wine with dinner.

Suzaku ended up in a dream of Saber's where he was in a room with an enemy outside. Saber told him they couldn't fight it. That seemed strange of Saber to say but he said he had learned from experience. He said that they could still make the choice to fight but they would die. Suzaku offered to hold it off and let Saber escape, Saber asked if Suzaku had ever fought a foe that was not human. Suzaku said that he had only fought ayakashi and Saber told him that this was a dead apostle, a vampire.

Suzaku asked if there was a way for Saber to escape and Saber said that it shouldn't be too difficult but he had more than himself to think about. Suzaku agreed, he had all the people who followed him as a god to protect. Saber told him that as he was his shinki he should protect him too. That was a strange sentiment to Suzaku, that his god had a responsibility towards him. He asked if Saber had a plan.

Saber asked how good his stealth was but really his plan involved blowing a hole in the wall and running really fast.

When everything calmed down from the dream sickness Suzaku realised he had remembered something. As everyone had told him he should speak to his god about such things he did so. Saber listened and helped make sense of some of his worries, explaining to him that he might have been a Britannian soldier because he had political value, that he was doing it to protect people. Suzaku wasn't sure if believing that was just an easy way out but he took it. Saber claimed he was a terrible king but he knew how to use people.

Suzaku argued that he wasn't a terible king but Saber said that history books were mostly united in that regard. Suzaku told him he might have not been a good king but he was a good god.

Shinichi Okazaki: Shinki A boy with piercings and blue hair in prison clothes who offered Suzaku some sweets at training in early December. It turned out he was Adrien's shinki. He asked who Suzaku's god was and Suzaku expained how gods disappeared. It frightened Shin to hear that people just vanished. Suzaku explained how Adrien had been a shinki until just a few days prior. Shin asked if Suzaku was Adrien's friend and Suzaku supposed he was. They spoke about Adrien a little, Suzaku reassuring Shin about how kind Adrien was. Shin said he hoped he and Suzaku would be friends also.

He was worried that Adrien was being too harsh on him. Suzaku promised he would talk to him and try and help. Suzaku was sure Shin would be a good shinki as he was trying to help already.

He was kind when Kija disappeared and encouraged Suzaku to stay with them.

Shun Kurosaki: Kurosaki. God: Nekhbet He approached Suzaku to tell him to put his gun away. Suzaku had nowhere to put it but took the bullets out. He told Suzaku he should ask his god for clothes with pockets, that a weapon was useful but carrying it openly would cause problems. Suzaku assumed he was a shinki but he was a god. He explained that Gods could feel the presence of their shinki but it didn't work the other way round.

He told Suzaku that Shinki were supposed to be a guide as well as to fight with, he should not be afraid to challenge his god. Suzaku asked if gods were not just, Shun said that they were as fallible as anyone else, especially the new gods who had once been human and were not to be put on pedestals. Suzaku thanked him and Shun told him that the more information he gave the less messes he had to clear up.

He was a guest at Grell's haloween party, he was exploring the temple when he came across Suzaku and Kotetsu. He asked Suzaku what he thought of Grell and said that Suzaku seemed the type to be polite about things, which wasn't the best way to be around Grell. He told him that Grell had been around as a celtic god, disappeared and then returned as Kali which was the first time he knew as a god returning as a different god. He asked Suzaku if someone more connected to Grell had spoken to him, Suzaku told him that William had and Shun said that Grell had had other shinki in the past but they were all strong willed and opinionated.

Suzaku asked if he doubted his ability as her shinki and Shun told him he doubted his ability to stand up to her- that he was more like the old gods definition of a shinki, someone to do battle with and do busywork. Suzaku told him what William had advised and Shun told him about what had happened at the moon viewing when Grell had lost control. Suzaku figured that since that was caused by a spell it was a little unfair to blame Grell but he took the warning. Shun returned to the party.

They attacked the centre sigil and those cultists and shinki who were trying to stop them together. Suzaku was trying not to properly harm anyone and Shun told him it was too late to be precious about who got hurt. Suzaku defended the sigil area whilst Shun destroyed the sigil.

At the next training most people had gone to Capya land. Shun was one of those who did not go and he was practicing throwing daggers. Suzaku watched him and was told not to stare. They finally exchanged names and Suzaku realised that this was Nekhbet who he had heard a lot about. Shun didn't seem to like being referred to by his god name but said that it was getting around more than he liked due to the popularity contest. Suzaku told him he had heard he was studying ofuda. Shun said that he could make working good luck ofuda but had no idea how the bad luck ones were created and they were using an invented language.

He told Suzaku about the department store fire and how there had been sabotage and bad luck ofuda in the days leading up to it. They discussed who could be behind it all and how even the cultists they had managed to get the names of had no idea who was behind anything.

After Grell disappeared they met again at training. Shun asked if Suzaku had been reassigned and reassured him that he would not be godless long. He claimed that he was in no worse situation than before and that even if Suzaku had not cared about being in danger those around him would. He claimed that gods that hurt those in their care did not last long even when they were good at hiding.

They sparred, Shun was as good an opponent as Suzaku had thought he would be and he told Suzaku that his fighting strength was a lot more formidable than his attitude... Suzaku took that as a compliment. Shun became a god of fortune.

He was at Zelda's meeting and shared information about the cultists. They later spoke after the volcano attack and shared information on Sotero and who might be manipulating him.

Suzaku entered one of Shun's dreams, it was a city full of robots and war. Shun was just a child and Suzaku did his best to help him, they tried to make their way to a more defensible position. As a child Shun was similar to as he was as an adult, he showed fear easier. He was tough and resourceful though.

He is quite abrupt but definitely knows what he is doing, is a good fighter and clearly has put work into figuring out all the strange things that no one understands. Suzaku respects him and would not mind working with him again in the future.

Snake: Shinki Marinette's shinki. He was very kind if a little shy. He seemed to have some ability to communicate to snakes and indeed only seemed to speak when relaying their thoughts. He lent Suzaku clothes though and helped him when Lady Grell disappeared.

Son Gohan: God: Wenchang Wang Replied to Suzaku's BBS post about sleeping for a long time, he said that he knew others it had happened to and Suzaku was lucky it had only been a couple of days. He posted on the BBS to make a list of all those who were known to have vanished into the forest. He and Suzaku discussed rescue efforts.

Resourceful and organised.

Sotero: God A child god who caused the volcano in the Far Shore. Suzaku and Akutagawa fought him. He was powerful, able to control fire like Voltelli could control the forest.

Suou Yagyuu: Shinki Nanako's shinki, helped rescue Lann from the forest.

Suzaku only really met him for a second before he was called into vessal form, but he is protective of Nanako, which is a good thing.

Takashi Shirogane: God Suzaku helped him check the ship wreck in January to make sure there were none of the younger shinki inside.

Terra: God A man who Suzaku met when the strange sleeping sickness and dream sharing was happening. They tried to move sleepers without touching them and being drawn into their dreams. He had wind magic but could only use healing magic on himself.

Qrow Branwen: Shinki Suzaku met him at training and directed butterflies towards his net, Qrow did not see the point of the training. Suzaku said it must be for a reason.

No real opinions yet

Unmi: Shinki One of Ebisu's shinki. He was trying to help a woman whose care had broken down on New Year. Suzaku stopped to help and discovered that it needed a new battery. Unmi went to buy one as Suzaku removed the old one. Unmi asked if he were looking for a job in his spare time and gave him a card in case he ever was.

Ventus: God: Aether A boy who stopped Suzaku from getting in the way of a race whilst Suzaku was distracted. He was friendly and had just arrived in the heavens. He didn't know what the god Aether represented and he didn't want to go to his temple, seemingly afraid of what it might be. Suzaku reassured him, telling him how temples tended to fit the theme of the god that they homed. Ventus still wasn't convinced and he didn't yet have a shinki who could help guide him.

Votelli: God A young girl who Hibiki and Suzaku met in the forest. She had control over the forest, which was her home. She was frightened and angry but finally gave them some answers. She said she hadn't meant for anyone to get hurt and that her sensei had told her to not let anyone get in the way.

She hadn't managed to stop the heavens. She seemed frightened of her sensei as well and wouldn't tell them who it was. She was a god but claimed to have no followers. She was frightened of the heavens and claimed that they killed those who disagreed with them. She believed if she went to the heavens she would be killed.

She refused to go with them and told them that they would have to prove that they would have to prove they would not hurt her first. Hibiki and Suzaku left.

After the volcano hit the Far Shore and the fight with the boy god there. Suzaku realised that Votelli was a real threat, or at least her sensei was. He told Amaretsu's shinki about her.

Wendy: Shinki Founder of the Shinki Sanctuary. She was advertising it on the BBS and Suzaku thanked her for setting up a helpful place. He offered his assistance if she ever needed it. She said that Archer and Shun patrolled it and he should ask them if they needed help.

William T. Spears: God: Ma'at. A stern man who approached Suzaku to warn him about Grell. He told Suzaku that Grell was a complicated individual and easily triggered into acting violently. He refers to Lady Grell with male pronouns but did not see fit to explain this at all. He told Suzaku to inform him if Grell started acting out as he was one of the few people who could knock sense into her. Suzaku asked what he should avoid doing. William explained that Grell was prideful so not to insult or criticize her and to do his best not to bore her. He told him that if she misused his ability to inform him and to not feel like he should obey her if Suzaku felt an action was wrong.

Once Suzaku had woken up after his three day sleep William and him decorated the temple for haloween. They agreed that some of the decorations were better than the dead bodies and spiked heads of the temple.

William answered Suzaku's BBS post the next day, Grell was at his temple. He explained that sleeping for a while was indeed normal and that he had also once been a shinki.

He is very forthright and though a lot of what he said was confusing Suzaku is glad for the information. He seems to be friends with Grell, at least they spend a lot of time together so Suzaku hopes that he truly has Grell's best interests in mind.

Yamanbagiri Kunihiro: Shinki A man who was helping measure things during training. He asked if he could measure Suzaku's speed and Suzaku allowed him to. He collected some data and then asked if Suzaku would mind if they sparred one day, Suzaku told him he would like that.

He helped Suzaku when Grell disappeared. He threw up some borderlines and gave Suzaku some holy water for the blight on his hand.

In early December they helped out with a problem at the Tokyo winter lights. At New Year they investigated a toppling statue at a shrine when it seemed shrines were being plagued with bad luck.

Seems nice enough. Suzaku would like to take him up on the offer of a spar.

Yona: God: Cnoc Áine A goddess and princess from Kija's world. Suzaku got to know her after becoming Kija's shinki and she was very welcoming to him. They cleaned a hut together at the hot springs and she checked how he was settling in. She told him that Kija had been without a shinki for a long time and so it was good he had someone to rely on now. She was at Zelda's meeting to try and figure out what was happening with the cult.

She gifted Suzaku with a coat and scarf and some notebooks at Christmas. He was a little overwhelmed but he made her an oragami dragon as a thank you. He told her that he would teach her as she seemed fascinated by it.

They met on the volcano and Suzaku had been affected by strange gasses that made him irritable. He snapped at her a few times but she did not take offence. Neither of them had answers of what might have caused the volcano.

*During Suzaku's nightmare where he was a child he met Yona in the ruins of Japan and mistook her for a Britannian. She didn't realise and so tried to help Suzaku, they tried to find cover. Suzaku didn't know what she wanted with him and feared for what might happen.*

Yoon: Shinki He replied to Suzaku's message on the BBS and told him that the sleeping was different than a normal coma and there were no negative medical effects afterwards.

No real opinions, but he seemed to know what he was talking about.

Yuna Yuki: God A girl who gave Suzaku a leaflet for the cat cafe and walked him there. She was volunteering there to help them on their open day as it was going to be busy. She already had some cats so wasn't planning on adopting another.

Friendly, nice enough to give up her free time to volunteer

Zelda: God She organised a meeting to discuss Cult activity.

Zhao Yunlan: Shinki A newcomer Suzaku met at the end of January. He was friendly and offered Suzaku a drink. They spoke about how everyone arrived together and how people disappeared. Zhao seemed enthusiastic about all the unknowns in the world they had found themselves in.
